Postdoctoral positions are available to highly motivated individuals who are passionate about science, able to work independently and creatively, and have an interest in the biology and mechanisms of mobile genetic elements and their industrial and clinical applications such as targeted gene therapy. Projects are available in several areas involving prokaryotic and eukaryotic mobile genetic elements. We are also interested in the  mechanisms that lead to the emergence of antibiotic resistance.

These positions are suitable for a recent PhD graduate with a strong background in chemistry, biochemistry, cell biology, or biophysics. Some experience or exposure to structural biology would be an advantage.

Our group is part of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, and offers an interdisciplinary environment with plenty of opportunities to interact with other scientists with diverse interests.
